State Representative Mike Murphy is proud to release his fifth substantive federal policy position paper. After releasing his detailed views on Agriculture, Energy, Health Care, and Defense, he now presents the Murphy Plan on Education. The plan calls for several reforms to our education system, including many advocated in the “Race to the Top” grant program. The plan is backed by the idea that the federal government should play a supportive role in education policy, while states and local communities control policy.
