Healthcare is the fastest growing sector of our national economy. As our population ages, we must have in place a private sector-based health system that continues to provide the best care in the world, while renaming affordable for all citizens.

This system should be based primarily on consumer choice, informed by the best possible medical and bio research. Consumers should have a wide array of health insurance products to choose from, including Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts, PPO’s, HMO’s, and traditional insurance.

Indiana’s thriving healthcare and bio-science sectors should be encouraged to invest in new technology and products by making sure federal tax policy and regulation do not create a disincentive for innovation.
